Blue Ridge Mountains have a certain country appeal to it, and is a hotspot for individuals who love nature and adventure. The mountains are known for their breathtaking views amongst other things. Each and every year thousands and thousands of tourists head to Blue Ridge Mountains to breath in the scenic beauty of one of USA’s most revered national treasures.
I have been all over the US, but nothing seems to compare to the majestic beauty of Blue Ridge Mountains, however in the fall of 2013, I had a particularly horrible experience while I was on a road trip with my friends, and we needed a place to crash for a few days.
Seeing as we were 4 people we decided that it might be a good idea to rent a cabin, and hence we decided to do that, but the cabin in question turned out to be an utter disaster and it was really a waste of time or money, as it was powered by a generator, which went haywire and we were effectively without any power for nearly 10 hours, and that really dampened our spirits and ruined our experience.
In late 2015 I travelled to the mountains again and this I did my research and rented a cabin which seemed nice and affordable. This time around I went with my family and boy was I happy I had taken the necessary actions needed for a memorable trip.
The accommodations were courtesy of Sliding Rock cabins, and trust me it was amongst the best Blue Ridge cabin rentals that I have ever had. The rooms were small but really comfortable, and there was a small fire going on in the living room, while we gathered around and watched TV. It also provided a scenic view of the mountains and, I was glad that I went along and booked a cabin from them.
